We can co-create Fair, Legal and Compassionate Medical Cannabis laws in 2012If you would like to support an ethical medical cannabis industry, and promote self-sustainability, while also supporting small family farms in Hawaii, contact Gov. Abercrombie and ask him to support realistic and sensible medical cannabis legislation, and to consider the advantages for Hawaii that are set forth in the proposed Hawaii Sustainable Family Farm Act, which was submitted to the 2011 Hawaii Legislature, as amendments to SB 1458, by PATIENTS WITHOUT TIME. Let's create fair and easily understandable medical marijuana (MMJ) laws in 2012! Please review our 2012 MMJ bills page with links to all of the 2012 Hawaii legislative bills regarding medical marijuana. Follow us on Facebook, to get updates on important testimony deadlines, because the lawmakers only give us a few days notice to submit testimony. Stay calm. It only takes a few minutes to view current hearings, and submit your testimony online, and let your voice make a big difference to our collective future. |

If acrid billowing smoke from sugar cane-fires (photo) on Maui is adversely affecting your health, you may easily file a complaint over the phone, with the Department of Health, by calling 984-8234. We encourage you to report all adverse health issues that you and your family suffers as a result of breathing sugar cane smoke. We ask you to encourage your friends to call or write the Department of Health and report any of their family’s health problems that are related to breathing sugar cane smoke. The Hawaii government needs our feedback to enact positive change. Mahalo. You may have Hawaiian Commercial Sugar add your name to their pre-burn contact list by calling them at 877-6988. Call backs seem unreliable so you may check the Maui sugar cane burning schedule recording by calling 808-877-6963. |
